Brbnchochip

Do you like bourbon? Do you like chocolate chip cookies? If you answered yes to both, then your prayers have been answered my friend. You no longer need to enjoy these two things separately, behold…. THE BOURBON CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE. Now you can eat your alcohol as well as drinking it, because you have things to do, and make efficient use of your time. After trying these cookies we are sure you will hold them on par with rum ham.

Ingredients:

2 1/4 cup flour

2 tsp baking soda

1 tsp kosher salt

3/4 cup gran sugar

3/4 cup brown sugar

2 sticks butter

2 tsp vanilla extract

2 tbsp bourbon or rye

2 eggs

2 cups chocolate chips

Method:

Preheat your oven on bake to 375F. Combine your dry ingredients in a bowl and mix thoroughly. In another bowl combine butter, sugars, vanilla extract, and bourbon. Mix well until it forms a paste and everything is evenly incorporated. Then add your eggs and mix again until everything is incorporated together. At this point slowly add your dry ingredients to the wet while mixing. After everything is mixed together you can add your chocolate chips and continue mix until they are evenly distributed. Scoop balls of dough about the size of a lime, onto a greased cookie sheet, or even better on some baking parchment paper.brbchochip2

Bake in the oven at 375F for 6-8 minutes, or until lightly golden around the edges. The cookies might appear to be underdone, but as they cool they will set and have an awesome soft texture. We prefer soft and gooey chocolate chips but if you are one of those psychopaths that enjoy well done chocolate chips cook them longer until brown around the edges.

You should use your everyday drinker bourbon/rye for the whiskey addition. If its good enough to sip on neat or on the rocks its good enough for the cookies. Don’t use bottom shelf plastic bottle, homeless guy whiskey, or top shelf stuff like pappy van winkle… unless your a baller like that, in which case your personal chef is probably reading this, and please send some of that juice our way.
